The Fundamentals of Internal Martial Arts are presented in this video course and also Silk Reeling Movement. While the silk reeling exercises are drawn from Tai Chi, the concept of silk reeling is used in Hsing-i and Pakua as well.
This video presents How to Stand, How to Turn, How to Shift, How to Step, How to Breathe and how to keep your body state in a balanced tension that is referred to as Peng. After the basics the silk reeling movement is presented with the single outer and inner circle followed by the 4 double hand patterns common to internal martial arts. This course will prepare one for the study of Tai Chi, Pakua or Hsing-i and will also be a stand-alone exercise for health. 12 clips total.
